The history of I&D Group.
2010s
I&D’s story begins in Havana, at the CUJAE, the city’s School of Engineering, where founding partners first met.
2016
After moving to Miami and setting up I&D group in 2016, I&D’s early commissions involved remodelling the Panama Canal, and designing a new Women’s Library in east Brazil.
2017-2018
Articulating a formal engineering language anchored by a conceptual narrative is at the heart of I&D’s work. Bringing valuable new perspectives, many South America designer joined I&D during this time.
2019-2020
2020s
As a collaborative of diverse and radical thinkers and designers, I&D draws on the deep roots and principals of its founders, while innovating constantly to bring positive change to the built environment.
